Teaching both violin and viola, I enjoy seeing people of all ages discover how exciting music can be! As a Suzuki certified instructor, I have served as a full time private teacher in the Southeast Ohio area for three years. Since 2015, I have been teaching elementary classes as well as privately at Central Christian School in Kidron, OH.
Receiving a Masters in Violin Performance from Ohio University, I studied under Dr. Stephen Miahky while serving as a member of the Graduate String Quartet. My orchestral involvements include Tuscarawas Philharmonic of New Philadelphia, OH, The Ohio Valley Symphony of Gallipolis, OH and the Huntington Symphony Orchestra of Huntington, WV. I began learning violin at five years old and received a B.A. in Applied Violin from Indiana Wesleyan University.
I live in Wooster, OH with my husband, Jeff, and three darling children. I look forward to the opportunity of helping nurture you into a relationship with music.
